There was a mess up while I made the booking from the net from your hotel website. I will know the entire implications when I finally get by bill for credit card.
I am very thankful to your duty manager for understanding the matter looking in to it and promising me that if there are any double charges then she is most willing to help me out.
My regret is that when we book on the hotel website there is mention if the Rates with or without breakfast, Another issue I faced was that after making the for check-in on May 12, 2018 and check out on May 15, 2018, a screen popped up saying that my reservation is confirmed for May 10 & 11. It further advised that I contact the hotel for confirmation. My card was charged and I was stuck because I was to arrive in Surabaya only on May 12, 2018 evening. I shared all the mails and whatsapp up messages with the duty manager.
I suggest that there is definite need to look in to the working of your website / portal otherwise it will not be possible to trust your portal for booking and I do not know if I can make a booking by calling your hotel and make a booking without sharing credit card details.

The entire visit from reception, Dining, SPA pool area and service all 5 star experience.
A team to recommend and to be proud off. I will recommend them to all.

As expected, Shangri-La always have a large impressive and cosy lobby, although the lobby at Surabaya looks old and tired. All the service staff from Reception, Concierge, Housekeeping, Cafe to Club Lounge are helpful and friendly. My only comment is the Club Lounge which is small for the non smoking area. The snack provided is limited and the alcohol quality is of lower grade compared to my experiences with other club lounges. But overall I am quite happy with my stay.

Amazing hotel. The room I was given upon arrival was better than I expected. The horizon club is also a great luxury touch. The food is to die for and the staff is so nice and helpful it feels like you want to be there for a long time and not go home. Great stay at this place. Faultless. Highly recommendable
