Very empathy. Very unprofessional. Even the instructions copies are ripped off. Didn’t give full instructions (you will only really know when you wait in line and wait for your number). I needed to go back because there was a mistake in my name and because of the very unclear instructions, I end up waiting for almost 3 hours only to be sent to a different office and came back with nothing. Need to wait again for around 2 weeks for the text, and again, when I arrive there, I had to go here and there, here and there because the staff don’t know what’s exactly going on. People have waited since 5 am in the morning and the machine was not turned on at 7.10 am. The security was casually talking to another person when his job was supposed to turn the computer on. The SMS centre only answers like automatic machine. Very, very dissapointing.Dino Maiolo
They've changed the office layout and procedure for extending your visa. It's more chaotic than it used to be, but still manageable. The people working here are indifferent, which is fine for a government office. The procedure is pretty straight forward, but like many things in Bali, if you are unfamiliar with the system, it can be quite confusing. Just go in and take a number from the kiosk as soon as you walk through the entrance. Wait for them to call your number on the intercom. There are plenty of bule around if you have any questions. you can also search Google for "extend visa in Bali" and you will find some excellent articles about the process right at the top of search results.
